The Date
I teased you all with a date, but didn’t mention it again so I guess I better do so now (Thanks for the reminder Bab). We started out by going to eat at a bar & grill type place and then going back to the bar were I ran into him the other night. He seemed to know everyone in the place. He was a great gentleman when the date started and I had those thoughts in my head that girls get about how this “thing” could really work out and he just might be the kind of guy I would like to be with for a while. The date went south after about six beers (six for him, and about two for me). He became loud and rude. Then he just wanted to watch the game on the TV and yell with the other guys. The date went ok I guess except that I had to find my own way home and he was more into partying and getting drunk that getting to know me. Normal college guy I guess. I’m not mad because it is just who he is right now, but there won’t be another date. If things had gone better I would probably doing to him for real what I pretend to do on the phone. It is hard to talk dirty all the time with no sexual outlet.

Seriously glad that you won't be giving that one another date though.

No way. I don't tell anybody. That is why I have this blog I guess. It is hard to do something and not tell anyone about it. Imagine coming home from a tough day at work and not being able to bitch to your friend/mom/whatever?
That's why I'm here - to blow off steam.

Why guys can be such drunken dorks at such inappropriate times is beyond me, especially while they are on first impression kinds of dates. What a loser. You’ll do better. As far as telling your future guy friend about your phone “customer service” job, tell him after the wedding.

Check this out and spread the word. Blogger now has a new feature you can turn on which requires anyone leaving a comment to first type in the weird word that shows up. This will eliminate the computer spammers from randomly generating spam on your blog comment screen. (though it does make commenting kind of a pain in the butte for us real people). Just go to your blog Settings and click on the Comment tab. Once in there you will see the button to activate it.
Cool! Kill Blog Spam!

That's pretty depressing when this guy would rather watch sports on TV. Doesn't he at least have Tivo at home to record it?

I would view it as a "good" date, you figured this clown out real fast without wasting a lot of your precious time
